Concerts 2025

New year, new concerts to come. Listening to live music is so important to me.

Welle:Erdball

Sometimes you wonder why you have missed a band for so long. This was the case for me with Welle:Erdball. I went to the concerts without knowing what to expect. And the music caught me from the start. The concert was a time travel experience back into the 80th of the last century, back to good old C64 tunes.

If you ever can see Welle:Erdball, go for it.

Santana

This was one of the oddest concerts I have ever attended. The concert started while the venue was still fully illuminated, and it ended with the venue lights on in the middle of the last song. There was no encore. The concert was split into two halves with an interlude drum solo.

The sound was perfect. Carlos Santana and his band played a fantastic set of songs. You could sit, listen, enjoy music, or dance forever. I really enjoyed seeing Santana in Hamburg.

Iron Maiden

I skipped last year’s tour. Therefore, I enjoyed the concert in Zürich even more.

I was surprised to see Iron Maiden move away from the classic background curtains they used in the past. That was such an anachronism in the digital world. But now, even Iron Maiden has moved away from a stage setup with a heart to cold but fancy digital overkill.

Nevertheless, the concert was a blast.

What’s on the schedule for 2025:

  • Belinda Carlisle
  • Adam Ant
  • Rick Wakeman

See you at a decent concert venue.
